Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences by repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, fix, and reassemble cars, ensuring quality and speed while upholding our brand promise.

You will plan repairs, prepare cost estimates, use cutting tools and fillers, realign frames, and fit new or repaired parts. A high school diploma and technical training or apprenticeship are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read job orders and work with little supervision.
• Strong understanding of vehicle body repair methods.
• Knowledge of tools and equipment used in auto body repair.
• Completion of technical training or apprenticeship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plans the repair work and prepares customer cost estimates.
• Disassembles, repairs, and reassembles vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Realigns car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Removes damaged sections and replaces or repairs parts, glass, and interiors as needed.
• Welds and preps/repairs surfaces with factory or equivalent paint.
• Completes work orders within labor guidelines and inspects vehicles after repair.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Adheres to safety and quality standards.
