Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring an Auto Body Technician to expertly diagnose and repair vehicles, restoring them to pre-accident condition. You will work with cutting tools, perform dent repairs, alignment, welding, and refinishing, all while upholding the WOW standards and KPI targets.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus technical schooling or a 3-year apprenticeship. A sign-on bonus up to $5,000 is available for experienced technicians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Must work safely in a noisy environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan.
• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Repair dents, apply filler resins, and realign chassis as needed.
• Replace damaged sections, glass, and interior parts.
• Weld, paint, and inspect vehicles for quality and KPI targets.
• Complete work orders within labor guidelines and verify repairs.
