Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Milwaukie, OR is seeking an Auto Body Technician who delivers precise vehicle repairs and a superior customer experience. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, replace damaged parts and glass, and ensure work meets our speed and quality standards.

You will plan repairs, prepare cost estimates, and collaborate with fellow technicians to meet KPIs. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of a technical program or 3-year apprenticeship,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program OR 3-year apprenticeship as auto body repairer.
• Read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work with other repairers within an auto body shop.

Responsibilities

• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts; replace glass as needed.
• Weld and fit parts; repaint vehicles to factory specs.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect finished work.
