Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician in Oregon to perform meticulous repairs and restore vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, using cutting tools, plasma cutters, jacks, and welders to ensure top quality and adherence to KPIs.

Strong teamwork and attention to safety are essential for success. Required training includes a high school diploma or equivalent, plus technical school or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required with technical training preferred.
• Completion of a technical program or apprenticeship in auto body repair.
• Ability to read and interpret repair orders and plans.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and work in a noisy environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Use tools like plasma cutters, jacks, hammers, and welders for repairs.
• Realign chassis, replace damaged sections, and repaint as needed.
• Inspect vehicles after repair and ensure work meets standards.
