Gerber Collision & Glass in Portland, OR is hiring an Auto Body Technician to deliver top‑quality repairs and exceptional customer experience. You will disassemble and repair vehicles, realign chassis, replace parts, and ensure work meets our speed and quality KPIs.

Requires high school diploma or equivalent; technical training or apprenticeship is a plus. You should read job orders, work well with others, and lift up to 30 pounds. We offer comprehensive benefits, PTO, holidays, and insurance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Thorough understanding of repair procedures and tools.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan consistently in daily repair work.
• Plan repairs and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, reassemble vehicles and realign chassis as needed.
• Replace damaged sections and glass; prep and repaint per specs.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and safety.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
