Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous repair work and by upholding the company promise of speed, quality and customer excellence. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, working with a team to meet KPIs and maintain high safety and quality standards in a busy collision repair facility in Oregon.

High school diploma or equivalent and technical training or apprenticeship are required, with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program completion OR a 3-year apprenticeship.
• Ability to read job orders and work with little supervision.
• Thorough understanding of repair methods and proper tool use.

Responsibilities

• Plan repairs and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble and repair vehicles to restore pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass, and repaint to spec.
• Ensure work orders meet labor time guidelines and inspect finished work.
