Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in the United States is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver an exceptional customer experience by precisely repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while maintaining speed, quality, and customer excellence in a fast-paced shop.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus technical training or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.
• Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan consistently and efficiently.
• Plan repairs and prepare customer cost estimates; use tools to repair vehicle sections.
• Hammer out dents, apply filler resins, and realign chassis as needed.
• Replace damaged sections and repair glass; weld and repaint as required.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect completed work.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
