Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in the United States is seeking an Auto Body Technician to provide exceptional customer experience through meticulous repair of vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while aligning with our speed, quality, and customer excellence goals.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and either completed a technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Thorough understanding of tools and repair methods.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute repair work and prepare cost estimates.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles.
• Realign chassis and frames; replace parts and windshields.
• Weld and fit parts; apply paint to finish.
• Complete work orders within time guidelines and inspect repairs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
