Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass offers an entry-level opportunity within a 30-day trial that leads into an 18-month Technician Development Program. You will work alongside experienced technicians, learn basic auto body repair, and gain hands-on exposure to dent removal, sanding, and painting in a collaborative shop environment.

Ideal candidates are 18+, willing to lift up to 50 pounds, and eager to develop technical skills in collision repair while following safety procedures and team guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Trade/Vocational school graduates preferred.
• ICAR Gold Class preferred.
• Some on-the-job experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in basic auto body repairs under supervision of experienced technicians.
• Learn to use and maintain tools and equipment safely.
• Participate in vehicle inspections to identify damages and plan repairs.
• Collaborate with team to complete repairs on time and to quality standards.
• Follow safety protocols and keep work area clean.
