Job summary

Herb Chambers Honda of Burlington in Massachusetts is seeking a friendly Body Shop Clerk to provide administrative support for body shop operations and enhance guest experiences. You will greet customers, route inquiries, and manage repair orders in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes accuracy in cash handling, timely communication, teamwork, and exceeding company standards for customer satisfaction. Must be at least eighteen and able to pass screenings.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they arrive in a pleasant and professional manner
• Direct customers to resources that best meet their needs
• Answer incoming phone calls in a prompt, polite, and professional manner
• Screen calls and direct to the appropriate party, and/or obtain information for follow-up
• Receipt and record cash, checks, and credit card payments from customers
• Reconcile cash drawer daily, as directed by the accounting office
• File repair orders as needed
• Open and close repair orders for all incoming and outgoing vehicles in a timely manner
• Operate office equipment and computer systems as needed
• Maintain Customer Satisfaction at or above company standards
• Must be an effective communicator
• Must be team orientated and comfortable in an open office setting
• Must have a strong attention to detail
• Must be able to operate in a fast paced environment
• Must be at least eighteen years of age
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screens (background and drug test)

Job description

Compensation: $20.00-$22.00/hr

The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry, education, ect.

The Body Shop Clerk is responsible for providing administrative support to body shop operations.
