Job summary

Herb Chambers Honda of Burlington in Sudbury, MA seeks an Automotive Service Technician (B-Level) to repair customer vehicles with guidance, perform routine diagnostics, and contribute to a high-quality guest experience. You will complete repairs including light engine work, electrical, HVAC, and safety systems while maintaining rigorous safety and warranty standards.

The role requires basic tools, strong technical/mechanical skills, and a team-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

• Must have basic tools and be capable of performing general repairs and diagnostics.
• ASE certifications heavily preferred.
• Manufacturer certifications heavily preferred.
• Must have great technical and mechanical skills.
• Must be a team player and able to work on complex tasks repeatedly.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
• Must pass pre-employment background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform general repairs and diagnosis with some assistance.
• Complete routine repairs for customer vehicles.
• Use multi-point inspection forms accurately on each vehicle.
• Document work performed and recommendations on repair orders.
• Communicate with service advisor when additional work is needed.
• Conduct road tests to verify work and ensure quality.
• Maintain technician proficiency per Asbury standards.
• Complete warranty repair orders and file warranty claims.
• Return customer vehicles clean and properly serviced.
