Qualifications

• Paraprofessional Educator certificate issued by PSC (Georgia) is required.
• HS Diploma or GED plus Praxis Parapro or GACE Parapro assessment.
• 60 semester or 90 quarter hours from PSC-approved college/university.

Responsibilities

• Support instructional program in assigned classroom for special needs students.
• Adapt activities to reinforce IEP goals and monitor behavior.
• Provide first aid and medical assistance as instructed.
• Assist with daily living needs and grooming for students with disabilities.
• Confer with teachers on student progress and implement IEP objectives.
• Assist with data collection and records, attend IEP meetings.
