Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics in Texas seeks a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support students with diverse needs, develop IEPs, and deliver differentiated instruction in inclusion and resource settings.

You will monitor progress, collaborate with ARD teams and families, implement behavior plans, and address academic, social, and emotional growth. Flexible full-time, part-time, or as-needed roles with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field
• Valid Texas Educator Certification in Special Education (EC-12)
• Knowledge of IDEA and the ARD process
• CPR certification preferred
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) with ARD committee
• Deliver differentiated instruction in inclusion and resource settings
• Monitor student progress with data collection and analysis
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families
• Implement behavior intervention plans and classroom management strategies
• Support students’ academic, social, and emotional growth
