Job summary

Centria Autism seeks a Center-Based Registered Behavior Technician to work with children on the autism spectrum. You will implement individualized behavior plans under supervision, teaching critical communication and daily living skills through proven methods.

Role requires patient, compassionate teamwork. Training is provided; candidates should be able to stand, move, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed. Earn $17–$20 per hour with opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Work one-on-one with children to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Use evidence-based techniques to reduce interfering behaviors.
