Job summary

Centria Autism in Rio Rancho, NM is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized intervention plans under a BCBA.

You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills, and participate in training provided; you must be patient, compassionate and able to lift up to 50 pounds. Pay range is $16-$23 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 18+ years of age.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test.
• Ability to pass a preemployment background check.
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification within 45 days of onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills.
• Assist in safely moving and supporting children, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
