Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children who have autism under the supervision of a BCBA. You will implement individualized intervention plans and use evidence-based methods to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing disruptive behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training; prior experience is not required. You must be able to stand, walk, sit, lift up to 50 pounds, and pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test.
• Background check clearance required.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans using evidence-based techniques.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills; reduce interfering behaviors.
• Contribute to a supportive, collaborative team environment.
• Provide meaningful support and care to children and families daily.
