Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as Registered Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

We provide training; you should be patient, compassionate, and able to work in a team. The role involves physical activity and lifting up to 50 pounds. Pay ranges from $18 to $25 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must obtain Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under BCBA guidance.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors.
• Be comfortable with physical tasks and moving with children as needed.
