Job summary

Centria Autism seeks enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children who have autism, implementing individualized intervention plans under BCBA guidance to teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based methods.

No prior experience required; comprehensive training is provided. You must be patient, compassionate, and a team player, with the ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds. Pay ranges from $17 to $20 per hour.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion when working with children.
• Team player with good communication.
• Ability to adapt to different behaviors and needs.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing behavior plans under BCBA supervision.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Assist in collecting data and documenting progress.
