Job summary

Centria in Albuquerque, NM is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA.

You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors. The role includes training and requires flexibility, physical activity, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certifications must be obtained within onboarding or already held.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and Tuberculosis test as required.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavior interventions under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based methods.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and monitor progress.
• Assist in implementing individualized behavior intervention plans.
