Job summary

Centria Autism is hiring Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, following BCBA-guided intervention plans. You will teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors, and you will receive comprehensive training.

Applicants should be compassionate, patient, and able to work in a team. Physical requirements include standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and frequent movement; wage range is $16–$20 per hour.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion to work with children with autism.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age and high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills and reduce interfering behaviors.
• Participate in training and collaborate with the BCBA and care team.
• Assist children with mobility and daily activities; lift up to 50 pounds.
