Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training, even if you lack prior experience. The role involves standing, walking, lifting, and may require handling children up to 50 pounds, with a pay range

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Patient and compassionate with ability to work in a team.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Candidate must obtain RBT certification after onboarding.
• No prior autism experience required; comprehensive training provided.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement behavior plans.
• Assist BCBA with data collection and progress monitoring.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Maintain a safe and nurturing environment.
• Move and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
