Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking Behavior Technicians to support children with autism in Farmington Hills, MI. You will implement individualized behavior intervention plans under supervision and work one-on-one with clients to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

We provide comprehensive training; no prior experience required. You should be patient, team-oriented, and able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test
• Background check required
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend)
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children following BCBA plans
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills
• Support children in transitioning and reducing interfering behaviors
