Job summary

Centria Autism in Taylor, MI is seeking Center-Based Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our team and support children with autism. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

We offer comprehensive training and a supportive team environment. The role requires physical tasks, patient demeanor, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test (if you haven’t had one in the last year)
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.) and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavior intervention under BCBA supervision.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Ensure safety and participate in training provided.
• Collaborate with the team and families to support progress.
