Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to work with children with autism in Farmington Hills, MI. You will implement individualized intervention plans under a BCBA, teaching communication and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

No prior experience required; comprehensive training is provided. The role requires physical stamina to move with children and a cooperative, team-oriented mindset. Pay ranges from $19 to $24 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test
• Background check required
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under BCBA guidance.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills.
