Centria Healthcare is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children diagnosed with autism in Farmington Hills, MI. You will implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based methods.

Applicants should be patient, compassionate, able to work in a team, and compliant with certification and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification required within 45 days of onboarding requirements

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and promote safety and growth.
• Collaborate with BCBA for guidance and support.
