Centria Autism in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT). You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

No prior experience required; comprehensive training provided. The role involves physical tasks, including standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds, and it offers meaningful daily

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test (if not completed in the last year).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, stand, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Support and collaborate with the BCBA and the team to reduce interfering behaviors.
• Help children reach their full potential in a supportive, patient environment.
