Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one with kids, implementing individualized intervention plans under a BCBA, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills.

No prior experience required; comprehensive training is provided. You should be patient, compassionate, and able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed. Pay range is $19–$20 per hour, with growth opportunities within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven’t had one in the last year)
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• One-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Support children with autism to reach their full potential and engage families in the process
