Job summary

Centria Autism seeks enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism, working one-on-one with guidance from a BCBA. You will implement individualized plans, teach communication and daily living skills, and help reduce challenging behaviors. Comprehensive training is provided and a collaborative team environment awaits.

Pay ranges from $19 to $20 per hour with opportunities to grow in a supportive, inclusive workplace that values children and families.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven’t had one in the last year)
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors.
• Support families and contribute to meaningful outcomes for children.
