Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

Qualifications

Passionate about helping children with autism.
Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
18+ years of age.
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test.
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Work one-on-one with children following BCBA-guided plans.
Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
Reduce interfering behaviors and support overall development.
Participate in comprehensive training provided by Centria.
Move and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
