Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children who have autism, using individualized intervention plans under BCBA supervision. You will teach communication, social, and daily living skills with evidence-based methods, while maintaining a compassionate, patient, and team-oriented approach.

We provide comprehensive training, emphasize safety and mobility support, and offer a schedule that fits a dedicated team.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid, and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.) and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children following individualized intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Collaborate with BCBA and team.
• Provide a safe and supportive environment.
• Assist with client activities and mobility as needed.
