Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.

Training provided; no prior experience required, with emphasis on patience and teamwork. Daily tasks include teaching communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques, while ensuring safety and support for each child.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and a good team member.
• 18+ years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test.
• Background check required and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children following individualized behavior intervention plans under a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors and support progress toward goals.
