Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, following individualized intervention plans under a BCBA’s guidance. You will apply evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training, value patient and compassionate teamwork, and require the ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds as part of daily tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and TB test if not current.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Support clients who may be unpredictable; maintain safety and teamwork.
• Assist with mobility and positioning as needed (standing, walking, sitting, lifting up to 50 pounds).
