Job summary

CENTRIA Autism seeks enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work with children on individualized plans under the supervision of a BCBA. You will learn and apply evidence-based strategies to teach communication, social skills and daily living tasks.

Join a team focused on meaningful impact for children and families. The role requires physical stamina to assist and lift up to 50 pounds and offers a pay range of $18–$24 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test within last year.
• Able to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Able to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend).
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Support children in reducing interfering behaviors and improving independence.
