Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism under the supervision of a BCBA. You will implement individualized plans, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

Training is provided; candidates must be patient, compassionate, and able to work in a team. The role requires physical movement and lifting up to 50 pounds, with pay ranging from $18 to $25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under the guidance of a BCBA.
