Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism in a one-on-one setting under the guidance of a BCBA. You will implement individualized behavior plans and use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

Role requires patience, teamwork, and physical ability to assist children who may weigh up to 50 pounds. Training is provided; competitive pay from $18 to $25 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• RBT certification to be obtained after onboarding."

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Utilize evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors in children with autism.
• Be physically able to stand, walk, sit, and assist with lifts up to 50 pounds as needed.
