Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to help children with autism. You will work one-on-one under a BCBA, applying evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors. Training is provided, and no prior experience is required.

The role involves physical activity and lifting up to 50 pounds as needed. Pay range is $18-24 per hour.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion are essential to work with children with autism.
• Ability to cooperate effectively within a team environment.
• High school diploma or GED required; CPR/First Aid and TB test may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under BCBA guidance.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans using evidence-based techniques.
