Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will implement individualized behavior intervention plans, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.

We provide comprehensive training and welcome candidates with a passion for helping children reach their full potential.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test (within last year).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under supervision of a BCBA.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
