Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism. You will implement individualized plans under a BCBA, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

Training is provided, and you will be part of a dedicated team making a meaningful impact. The role requires physical activity, standing and lifting up to 50 pounds, with pay range $18–$25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion when working with children with autism.
• Ability to work well in a team and follow BCBA guidance.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Candiate must obtain RBT certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors to support progress.
