Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized plans under a BCBA. Training is provided, and you will help teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based methods.

Applicants should be patient, compassionate, and able to work in a team. The role involves standing, lifting, and moving with children up to 50 pounds, with a pay range of $17.00–$20.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Patience, compassion, and ability to work well in a team.
• High school diploma or GED.
• CPR and First Aid certification and TB test required or to be obtained.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.
• No prior experience required; comprehensive training provided.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and promote positive outcomes.
• Assist with mobility and safety; may lift up to 50 pounds when needed.
