Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior plans under the guidance of a BCBA, using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

The role requires patience and teamwork. No prior experience is necessary; training is provided. You must be able to stand and move with children and lift up to 50 pounds. Pay ranges from $17 to $20 per hour.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to children with autism under a BCBA.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans using evidence-based techniques.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Collaborate with the BCBA and care team to monitor progress.
