Job summary

Centria Healthcare is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing behavior plans under a BCBA's guidance. Training is provided to help you empower children to reach their full potential.

You will assist with communication, social, and daily living skills while maintaining a safe, supportive environment. The role includes physical tasks and requires lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, bend, kneel, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior plans.
• Assist BCBA under supervision and guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Ensure safety and support during client activities.
