Job summary

Centria Healthcare is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior plans under a BCBA, teaching communication and daily living skills with evidence-based techniques.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification required within 45 days of onboarding requirements

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and support meaningful progress for each child.
