Job summary

Centria Healthcare is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one with children, implement individualized intervention plans under a BCBA, and apply evidence-based techniques to build communication, social, and daily living skills.

This role offers comprehensive training; many of us start with no prior experience. You must be patient, compassionate, and team-oriented, able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds, plus CPR/First Aid and TB

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Candidates must obtain an RBT certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children and implement behavior plans under a BCBA.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Collaborate with the team and participate in training to support children.
• Provide safe, supportive care that respects each child’s needs.
