Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to join our team. You will work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized intervention plans under a BCBA, using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

No prior experience required; we provide comprehensive training. You must be patient, compassionate, able to work in a team, and physically capable of activities like standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient and compassionate, able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and monitor progress under supervision.
