Job summary

Centria Autism seeks enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism through one-on-one sessions guided by a BCBA. You will implement individualized intervention plans and teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based methods, while managing challenging behaviors in a compassionate, patient, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion when working with children with autism.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Must be 18+ years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and a TB test within the required timeframe.
• Willingness to pass pre-employment background checks.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move in various positions.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under a BCBA.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Reduce interfering behaviors while maintaining a supportive, patient, and team-oriented approach.
