Job summary

Centria Healthcare is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. In this role you will work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.

You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while helping reduce interfering behaviors. Training is provided, and prior experience is not required.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to children with autism using individualized behavior intervention plans under a BCBA.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Assist with moving and positioning as needed to ensure safety.
• Collaborate with the BCBA and team to implement plans and track progress.
