Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children with autism under the guidance of a BCBA, applying evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training and expect you to be patient, compassionate, and a strong team player. Candidates must lift up to 50 pounds and complete onboarding to obtain RBT certification.

Qualifications

• Desire to help children with autism and work in a team.
• Must be 18+ years old and hold a HS diploma or GED.
• Must obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test as applicable.
• Pass pre-employment background check.
• Ability to sit, squat, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under supervision of a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors through intervention plans.
• Participate in comprehensive training provided by the company.
