Job summary

Centria Autism is hiring Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA. You will apply evidence-based methods to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

Candidates should be patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team. Training is provided; CPR/First Aid certification and TB test are required, with RBT certification within 45 days of

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion when working with children with autism
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• 18+ years of age and a high school diploma or GED
• CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test required within 12 months
• Background check required for employment
• Ability to physically move and lift up to 50 pounds
• RBT Certification required within 45 days of onboarding

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills
• Collaborate with the BCBA and team to monitor progress and adapt plans
• Participate in training and professional development to support client success
