Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism under the supervision of a BCBA. You will implement individualized intervention plans, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.

We provide comprehensive training and a supportive team environment. You must be patient, compassionate, and able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed; CPR/First Aid and TB testing may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be patient and compassionate with children with autism.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and follow BCBA guidance.
• Requires at least a high school diploma or GED; CPR/First Aid certification and TB test may be required.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills; reduce interfering behaviors.
• Collaborate with team to support clients and families; participate in training and ongoing education.
