Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, under a BCBA's guidance. You will implement individualized behavior plans using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while promoting safety and engagement.

The role requires patience, compassion, and teamwork. Training is provided; candidates must be able to move and lift up to 50 pounds, and pursue RBT certification after onboarding.

Qualifications

Must be 18+ years old.
High school diploma or GED required.
Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test.
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.
RBT certification obtained after onboarding.

Responsibilities

Work one-on-one with children with autism under supervision of a BCBA.
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans using evidence-based techniques.
Help teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
Ensure safety and comfort of clients during activities.
